Kansas Deer Hunts

Ck Outfitters offer a limited number of deer hunts a year on our 10,400 acres of Trophy managed properties. The rifle deer hunt is a 5-day hunt on our Trophy whitetail deer managed property. No other hunting of any kind is allowed on this property to protect the habitat and security of our Kansas trophy deer hunting.

Kansas Hunting Guides

Your head guide is one of our owners (Curt Shahan). Curt knows the properties we hunt better than any individual in Osage County. Curt is on of the most accomplished bow hunters you will ever meet. He brings this experience to the Kansas woods every time he guides a hunt. Curt is the last person to brag. (However, I am going to brag for him!) Curt has 15-P&Y's 4-B&Cs Whitetail's 5- Bull Elks, 2-P&Y's Mule Deer and 1-P&Y Bear all killed with archery equipment. When he brings this experience to the Kansas woods to guide you and puts a gun in your hands, watch out!

Curt is an award winning taxidermist with many awards to his name, including best of show at many taxidermy competitions. He is a true artist that will make sure your harvested trophy is cared for before heading home. He has 25 years of professional taxidermy experience.

I (Kenny Graham) can’t brag much about my archery harvest. I have only taken 5-P&Y's and 1-B&C. But what I do bring to help you is an excellent knowledge of the property, having grown up in Kansas. I also bring the ability to insure the excellent habitat management it takes to make your hunt a success. And I know how to manage our property to protect our biggest resource—the deer and turkeys we all love to hunt.

*Success rate over last 10 years: 69.8% on large mature whitetails

*Shot opportunity over the past 9 years: 152%

*Average size of all harvest over last 10 years: 144 1/8”

*Average size of all harvest in 2012: 141 3/8”

We have kept excellent records from day one and have the statistics to back up our numbers. We don’t drop out the smallest deer taken like many outfitters. We have taken into account all harvested game in our scores and statistics.

Type of Hunting Stands We Use at CK Outfitters

All of our deer hunting blinds are enclosed wood sided, roof covered, carpeted hunting blinds with operating windows and comfortable office style chairs. We have heaters available upon your request if you need them. This helps you to withstand the winds that always blow in Kansas.

These deer stands are easy to enter and exit and accommodate any deer hunter. CK Outfitters takes pride in putting you in the safest and most comfortable deer stands available. While many deer hunting outfitters set you in a hard ladder deer stand in the elements or on a limb perched in the rain, CK Outfitters put you in a small house while you wait on your trophy Kansas deer warm from the cold Kansas December weather. I promise you'll be able to deer hunt comfortably in any weather conditions comfortable that Mother Nature might throw at you.
