I
have had the opportunity to hunt with Curt and Kenny
of ckoutfitters on two occasions now. These guys are
serious about keeping those monster Kansas whitetails
on their extensively managed properties because they
truly want you to return home with a cooler full of
venison and a set of horns you'll be proud of. They
know how to make it happen. They spend countless hours
in the field managing feeders and stands to maximize
your chances of success. They also spend a large portion
of what it costs you to hunt keeping feeders full of
corn, licks full of minerals, and trail cams updated
so you'll know what to expect to step out on your hunt.
I've been fortunate enough to harvest two mature whitetails
with them on two hunts, and I wouldn't be a bit surprised
to go three for three. Give 'em a try. I'm confident
that you won't be disappointed. Btw, one of those mature
bucks I took was a buck of a lifetime!! Good luck.

I have had the opportunity on several occasions to go
both turkey and deer hunting with CK OUTFITTERS. On
every hunt I have found the services provided by them
to be outstanding. The excellent guide services that
Curt provides are unbeatable. (One must learn to listen
to his advice, I know I have) The properties that they
offer to hunt all have abundant wildlife and there is
a very, very, good chance you will bag the trophy gobbler
or buck of a lifetime. I believe that the lodging they
offer is as good as it gets, if not better. You can
relax in your room then go to the restaurant and share
the days “stories” with all the other hunters
in camp while enjoying the excellent food that the restaurant
offers. CK OUTFITTERS has what it takes to make your
hunting experience one to remember. I wish them the
best of luck in the future.

and Curt,
I just wanted to take a minute to let you both know how
much me and my son Nicholas enjoyed our father-son hunt
with you guys. I was a little hesitant at first due to
the fact that I was bringing my 10 year old son on his
fist hunt away from home, and that we also never hunted
with you guys before. Well, all that changed as soon as
we met Curt. He was just great with my son and me and
put us on birds every time out. He is a real gentleman
and there was never a time that I ever felt uncomfortable
with my son being around him or the other hunters in camp.
In fact, I have since kept in touch with Curt and consider
him a friend outside of the hunting business. Me and my
boy both killed turkeys, him a bearded hen and me a beautiful
long beard Eastern, Rio mix, and my son also had opportunity
to kill a long beard as well, but missed a 15yd shot.
All in all it was the BEST hunt that I have ever been
on and I've hunted a lot of places. We both have some
great memories and a few trophies that we will cherish
for the rest of our lives. Thanks for everything!! Put
me on you reference list.
PS: Can’t wait to get out there this coming fall
and kill one of those whopper whitetail's that you have
running around out there!

Just
wanted to drop a note and say “Thanks” for
the great December deer gun hunt. Once again, Curt got
us on some great deer and we had a lot of action.
I
have hunted with CK Outfitters 3 times thus far. 2 turkey
hunts and this past December with a great deer hunt.
I have always been happy with the amount of Wildlife
that I have seen. This year I brought my son Michael
along for the deer hunt. He was able to kill his “Buck
of a Lifetime” at the age of 12.
The
accommodations and food were outstanding and the rooms
were neat and clean. I would highly recommend the fried
chicken to anyone who stays there.
I
am looking forward to seeing you this spring for the
turkey season. Thank you for working with myself and
Michael on our hunt, you have helped make a lifetime
of memories for both of us.

and Curt,
I wanted to let you know that Dave and I had a fantastic
time at our annual Kansas turkey hunt with CK Outfitters.
As you know, this is the 3rd year in a row that we have
gone, and it remains a great experience every year.
This year, we had horrible weather with wind and rain
a lot of the time, but Curt was still able to put us
on birds while staying dry in the blinds. We both filled
our tags with good birds!
I am going to really work hard at getting my other guys
to go again next year with us, as they were really jealous
when I told them the stories of how good the hunting
was again. In fact, a few more have expressed interest,
so I continue to distribute your brochures. Of course,
David and I will want to go for sure. I told Curt that
we really need to have whatever week coincides with
the first week of Missouri’s season, as that is
the only way I can get off work for both. I hope this
works out again as it did for the past 3 years.
If you guys need any references for people who are considering
your Kansas Turkey hunt, feel free to refer them to
me as I can give you guys an A+ rating without reservations.

If
you want to get to know a couple of guys that have years
of hunting experience, and can talk the talk. If you
are from out of town and would like the opportunity
to harvest a nice deer or turkey in their area, this
is the cheapest way to get it done. Think about the
money you will spend leasing property, setting it up
with several trips there just to get to know it, will
cost you an arm and leg. These boys have a pretty high
successful rate, just check out the photo gallery and
you will soon find out why they walk the walk.

I first met Kenny and Curt in the spring of 2008. I was
videoing a buddy who had purchased a turkey hunt from
CK Outfitters. I did not purchase a hunt because to be
honest, I was a little hesitant and nervous about purchasing
a hunt with no knowledge of the Outfitter. It took me
about two hours in the blind that afternoon just after
lunch to go to the ATM. Although it was difficult to locate
an ATM (not a bad thing), once I did. I paid Curt for
the hunt. I have been returning every spring since. This
will be my third year and have been looking forward to
it all year! Also I hunted with CK Outfitters for archery
deer in the fall of 2009. Although I did not harvest,
it was one of the best deer hunts I have ever been on.
I would recommend any of their hunts to everyone. Thanks
Kenny and Curt for giving us the opportunity to keep our
dreams alive.
